Our own Jay and Julie Seitz are hosting the BMW Spring Fling Gathering and they have asked me to extend the invitation to the Atlanta Z3/Z4 Owners club. It's a great opportunity to spruce up your ride in preparation for spring. But, if washing your car doesn't sound like your kind of fun, come on out anyway to hang out with a fun group of enthusiasts. Please RSVP to Julie and signup at Perfect Potuck (link below). Julie says: Come celebrate spring by bringing your BMW and yourselves to a gathering at our home. We will spend the day outdoors, enjoying the weather, our cars and each other. If you want to do a spring cleaning, bring your car cleaning & polishing supplies. Otherwise, bring your favorite beverage, something to grill and sign up for a side item via the link below. The RoadtwisterZ Spring Drive will be Saturday, April 23. Our host hotel will be the Country Inn and Suites in Boone, NC. 818 East King St. Boone, NC Phone 828-264-4100 Call the hotel to make your reservations and tell them you are with the Z Series Car Club Group. The room rate is $126.00/night. The cutoff date for rooms is March 22. Time is short, so please go ahead and make your reservations if you want to join us. Our format will be the same as the fall drive. We will gather and sign in on Friday, the 22nd and have dinner at 7:00 Pm. The drive starts at 8:00 AM on Saturday, and we should be back to the hotel around 4:00 PM. Dinner at 7:00 PM. After you make your reservations, let me know you are coming and how many are coming. We have had great people every year and already have many signed up in only two days. Join us if you would like to have a great weekend. |

Cindy Callaway's East TenneZee Club is doing a drive from Dandridge, TN to Ashville, NC to attend The Vintage (A national gathering of vintage BMWs). See http://www.atthevintage.com for details. Cindy says: We will meet Hardee's 509 Patriot Drive Dandridge, TN off 40 East Exit 417 Have breakfast then leave SHARP by 8:30am to head up for Vintage in Hot Springs, NC. There will be other members of ZSCCA in Hot Springs to meet up with @10am. Though our cars do not qualify for vintage just yet, we can enjoy a great drive and beautiful Hot Springs. Parking in Hot Springs is limited so we will do our best to find a places to park, hence getting there an hour before the parade of cars begins to come into Hot Springs at 11am from Asheville. It looks like a lot of fun. Meet them at the Hardee's or look for them at the show. |

Coffee and donuts will be provided while owner, Vince Tobia, explains the benefits of Permafinish and the application process. And, Robert will be showing off the results of this process with his Black M Roadster. Afterward, we'll all meet at Greater Good Barbecue for lunch. Rich Alterman (in Roswell, GA) asked me to make Atlanta area Z owners aware of the Third Annual Cougar Classic Bike & Car Show happening Saturday, October 1 in Roswell, GA. Rich plans to be there with his Z and would love to have other Zs to keep him company. The show runs from 10 AM to 4 PM at 700 Grimes Bridge Rd, Roswell, GA. The annual Fall Drive this year will again be held at the Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge. Reservations can be had by calling 1-800-621-1260.
